Before you can use the notarization service you need to call the approve function on the YLM ERC20 token.
Approve function give permission to the notarization smart contract to spend some token from your wallet address.
This token will be spent from your wallet when you submit new documents or do other operations on the documents.

We will now ask Metamask to sign a transaction with the document owner key.
The transaction signature will be later used as an authentication method to login to the MDI server.
This transaction will not be broadcasted to anyone.

Initial MDI fee

 

Before starting using MDI server we require a minimal fee to be paid.
This is a one time payment and enable your account to use the mdi server.

Delegate

 

The delegated account is an account that can signs transactions on behalf of the document owner.
A delegated account is ideal to give permissions to operate on your documents to someone else without having to share your private key.
This account do not need any funds to operate, can be configured to have minimal permissions on your documents or revoked when not needed.
